Editorial Review
A hidden treasure on the Lower East Side, Apizz cooks up Italian food in a stunning -- and huge -- wood-burning oven. The dining room is intimate and cozy, rustic yet modern, and perfect for first dates or dining with friends. Like its décor, the menu at Ápizz is a blend of old and new. The menu consists of updated versions of Italian classics like Wild Boar Lasagna and Open Ravioli with Butternut Squash, as well as Oven-Roasted Whole Fish and a braised short rib gnocchi.
