Editorial Review
Perhaps the ideal complement to the Hotel Rivington, this charming restaurant named after the Norse god of thunder remains a focal point on the Lower East Side. Perhaps because it's in one of the tallest buildings, you too will feel godlike in this extraordinary space, certainly unique in New York. After entering through a quasi-tunnel we call the quadubble bubble, have a gander at the lounge, hit the bar, visit the Outhouse (leading downstairs to restrooms) or perhaps be unconventional and just head to your table and dine.
