The owners of Sea have struck on a great concept, and of their several Manhattan restaurants this one is thumbs-up the best. Time after time we are pleased with how authentic the dishes are, service is always good, efficient and we've never had a bad dish. The papaya salad is properly spicy and brings tears to our eyes; few New York Thai restaurants do this standard dish properly. Volcanic chicken is always served with gusto: a nice boat of flaming sauce poured over the chicken. The bar always has an elaborate display of fresh flowers, and the lighting is cool.
