It's true. I've been a coffee drinker for years, but became a coffee lover when I stumbled across this charming coffee shop just across the Tappan Zee bridge in barely upstate New York. Their coffee is amazingly delicious.
Ah but the name. Bunbury's house coffee is called "The Dog's Bollix," after the British expression for something quite good, ("Well isn't that the dog's bollocks?") Regardless, it's turned me into a total snob. (Sorry Starbucks.)
The small shop also bakes its own pastries daily. The Bunbury Muffin, a soft/crunchy carrot raisin delight with apples, walnuts, coconut and a streusel topping is fantastic. Also recommended are some of the unique sandwiches...
