September 21 - with The Morning After Girls and Drinks Specials

This Wednesday September 21, we have an action packed line-up for you. Sacha and Martin (a.k.a. Australia's infamous Morning After Girls - who are making a lot of noise at the moment) will be taking to the decks spinning, joined by Ciao Bella, The Husky Gentleman (Spin), DJ Le Boozer and Cockfosters (V2). Nick Marc (of Tiswas fame) will also be playing - expect to find yourself dancing to a mix of dance-rock, new wave and classics.

Distortion Disko at Duvet - Thursday September 22
with Dirty Martini

Kenny Kenny, Larry Tee, Josh Wood, Amanda Lepore, Sophia Lamar, GBH and friends are getting together to throw another big Thursday-night free-for-all at Duvet.

Legendary DJ Larry Tee and guests play a musical format we call Distortion Disko (which comprises new wave house and a freaky mash-up of the popluar tunes of the day) to a discerning crowd of music lovers, freaks, booty-shakers, fashionistas, and beautiful people.

This week, Dirty Martini is stopping by to give one of her fabulous performances.

This party has a great energy and is a great mix. As the New York Post said of this party... "the new generation of outrageous-looking denizens dance with veteran Disco 2000-era clubbers"

Princess Superstar - Official Album Release Party
Annie - DJ Kicks Pre-Release Party
Friday September 23 at Lotus

Local Rapper / DJ / Singer / Pop Star - Princess Superstar is releasing a rather excellent new album called 'My Machine' on K7 records (read the review here) and she is celebrating with us at our GBH party at Lotus - Friday September 23rd.

Annie - the cute Scandinavian pop chanteuse whose irresistably catchy 'Chewing Gum' song you've been dancing to for about six months now - is celebrating the pre-release of her DJ Kicks compilation CD (out early 2006 on K7 records) with us too (she'll be in the US to do some live shows).

DJs for this event will be Princess Superstar herself, Carl Kennedy and a very special guest DJ from Norway (?).

In the Flower room, Michael T. DJs the Friction party, playing '80s new wave and rock'n'roll to a colorful collage of nightlife fauna - hosted by Miranda Moondust and Chris B.

Downstairs in the lounge, DJ Noami spins hip-hop and classics.

Thanks to everyone who has been coming out to this party over the last few weeks - it's been getting better and better. This week, Nora K and Nico XO will be joining Alex English (our One Louder resident) behind the decks, playing the usual mix of dance-rock, new wave, hipster house and classics.

Downstairs, Daai Lo will be playing soul, funk, hip-hop and stuff like that.

GBH's Sunday Afternoon/Evening Rooftop Party at BED's Groovedeck
This Sunday September 25.

This week at our fabulous rooftop party, DJs Tabu, Angola and Corey (of Unknown People) will be spinning jazzy, loungy and pumping electronic and house beats for us, while we eat, drink, dance, lounge around (and maybe fall asleep on one of the beds after downing too much sangria) at the city's sexiest and most decadent roof-deck. We love the laid back Miami vibe, the rooftop views and all the eye candy.

Brunch is served from 2pm to 7pm

Doors Open 2pm-1am.
