An Ren designs with a futuristic eye, tied to the past. I adore her coats!
About five years ago, I bought a 3/4 black swing coat with gem-colored patched silk cuffs and an intricate collar, which can be worn in several ways due to the clever placement of the buttons.
I wore the coat to the opera and was unable to go to my seat, the ladies room or retrieve my car without someone engaging me regarding my “chic” coat. (In addition, An Ren’s large fabric-covered buttons gave the coat a 60’s feeling.)
