So fall is here, but it doesn't feel like fall, with temps in the 90s. The fifth firefighter lost his battle and succombed to his injuries. He was too badly burned and I didn't think he would make it. The good news is they caught the person who set the fire and he is charged with 5 counts of murder. I hope they add special circumstances to that.
I am glad to see that the democrats took control. And dubya was trying so hard to make this defeat look positive for the republicans. What a sham the whole thing has been. Glad to see Rumsfeld go.
Only one month (actually 21 days but who's counting) until I step foot in New York City. I hope the weather holds up, although I really liked the snow last year. There is just so much to do and not enough time to do it. BAH! I need to spend a month there...probably still would be enough time. Good thing the city never sleeps.
