This Saturday night, take a moonlit cruise to Staten Island for a fun evening of dancing, drinking, performance and dead things in jars. Just 2 blocks from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal in St. George, a group called CityZen is hosting at the Staten Island Museum. This ancient, venerable, but tiny musuem is being dressed up by an off-Broadway designer for the event and I'm told it will be absolutly amazing. Dress, (in their words, I promise) is "casually fabulous." There will be performances (involving a man in a skirt), holiday presents galore, and some of the best snack fare the North Shore of Staten Island has to offer. $25 @ door OR $20 if you send RSVP (with # of guests) to CityZen@ureach.com. You might even qualify for a further discount if you join their mailing list right away by e-mailing annmarie@fugtup.com (Details at CityZen.)
And don't miss this great article about the Staten Island Museum from Time Out/New York!!
