Those of you looking for the last remnants of CBGBs will have to look up and north. Second Street west from The Bowery still has its Joey Ramone Place ceremonial sign (despite reports to the contrary on this Web site). For any other ghosts of CBs, head north to St. Marks Place, where signage is in place for the future site of the CBGBs retail shop, where you won't be likely to hear any live music, but you'll be able to spend your cash.(This is not a recent image.
