Glorious View in Battery Park City -- More people watching than I expected.

Monday afternoon was so glorious, I thought I'd take my bike out for lunchtime and head down the Hudson River Park Bike Path for some sun and people watching. I thought I might stop off around Greenwich Village and sit a bit before heading back up to W33rd Steet. Well, I managed to get down to Battery Park City and ride around the waterfront a bit.
On the return trip coming out of Nelson Rockefeller Park and behind Stuyvesant H.S., a very attractive couple was headed the opposite direction. Not surprising, the young man was enjoying the weather with his shirt wide open to the sun with his ebony abs for all to see. And right beside him, so was his young lady companion -- rightly proud of her fine alabaster figure in full view through her open shirt flapping behind her like a black flag of victory.
So, I continued on, despite my thoughts of circling back for another viewing. And a few feet beyond, was a group of older Jamaican women, all very upset over what they'd just been exposed to. "Did'chew see dat wo-man dress dat way. Just what does she tink she's doing?" I heard as I rode by.
I just had to share that experience since it's the first time since it became legal in NYC that I've seen anyone take advantage of the right to bear bare breasts in public. I've always said I need to get out more for lunch!
