Cameroon-born Richard Bona has been in high demand since his move to New York City in 1995. He has blessed the stage with the likes of Pat Metheny and Herbie Hancock. Later this month he’ll be performing along side Benin born guitarist Lionel Loueke September 26th and 27th at Jazz at Lincoln Center. If you’re a fan of West African music, these two represent the best. You’ll also hear some jazz and funk coming out of these two and the vocals will also be a big surprise if you’ve never checked out music from this part of the world.
