Recent hotel guests have said: "Can't beat the location or the price." "Very comfortable and clean." "Decent but certainly not luxurious." "Friendly staff." "Neighborhood a bit dodgy, but close to attractions and hip neighborhoods." Seems that first-time travelers to New York are a bit intimidated by the area and "small" room size, but repeat visitors to New York proclaim the hotel's very clean and rooms are large. Is the glass half-empty or half-full?

Really Happy with The Broadway Plaza

I was really happy with The Broadway Plaza. After reading a number of average reviews we were expecting a lot less than we got!! Three of us stayed in Studio Suite. It was extremely large, comfortable and we even had a view of the Empire State Building!! I thought the location was really great - just 1 block from the subway and walking distance to Times Square, Union Square, Empire State Building and lots of others things!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The area wasn't great but not as bad as i expected it to be - as a girl in Manhattan i wouldn't walk anywhere on my own a...
